Dear Liana,

First of all, thank you for accepting me to be your pen pal. It means a lot to me. I always want to practice English I’ve learned at school in a real life. I am also curious about the western culture. I hope that we can learn about each other’s culture.

Well, let’s begin with the introduction. My name is Azizah Santika. You can call me Zeezee. I am 16 years old. I live in Mataram, Lombok. It is the island east of Bali on the Indonesian map. Besides studying at school, I also learn scuba diving. I want to be a marine biologist in the future. What a boutyou? What’s your aspiration, Liana ? I live in a traditional house. I’ll attach its picture for you. Even though traditional, it’s well maintained and reinforced. It can withstand even the toughest rainstorm which is common, especially in a rainy season. How’s the weather there? I have always wanted to experience living in a country with four seasons.
