The 1988 Soul Olympics seems to be starting point for Indonesia’s rise in the sporting world. The Olympic game in 1992 which held in Barcelona Spain was great achievement of the Indonesia team because there was the first time of indonesia got two gold medals from Badminton. There were the sporting heroes of the country. They had brought Indonesia on the first rank of women’s individual and men’s individual badminton respectively. After the great badminton achievement Indonesia won a gold medal again from Badminton in the 1996 Atlanta Olympic . It was from the men’s double class by Rexy Mainaky and Ricky Subagya.
