Dalam teks diatas diceritakan bahwa penulis membawa bayinya yang baru lahir untuk mendapatkan pemeriksaan pertama di dokter anak. Namun, dalam teks tidak terdapat informasi mengenai apakah si bayimerupakan anak pertama atau bukan. Dalam teks hanya disebutkan bahwa bayi tersebut baru lahir (newborn son) dan bahwa pemeriksaan tersebut adalah pemeriksaan pertamanya (his first checkup).
