Pertanyaan

When I was ten, I started cooking. I had to do it because I had two younger brothers and my father went home late. At that time, I came back from outside. The house was dark. Then I saw my mother sleeping on a bed. My brothers were watching TV. I leaned onto the bed and talked to my mother, "Mom, did you hear me?" My mother moved her eyes and said, "I get cold. It's time to cook, but switch the light on first." I lifted a stool toward the wall and climbed on top of it to reach the switch, and put the light on. My mother then reminded me to cook. "Put one full cup of rice into the inner pot of the electric rice cooker. Then wash the rice with water. be careful." I followed her instructions. Her voice was hoarse but I could still hear it. I crashed the pot into the sink and I cried out. All the rice was in the sink and the pot was empty. I went back to my mother with the empty pot. My head was down. Instead of scolding me, she patted me on my head for admitting the fault. "I heard what happened. Now, remove the dirty rice and try again. There is nothing you cannot do," she said. This time, I held the pot as tightly as possible, I washed the rice and poured the water out carefully. I repeated it several times. Then I measured the depth of the rice with my middle finger, a trick that I had learned from my mother and put the same amount of water in the water. I brought the pot back to my mother. She did the same to measure the depth of the water. Then she asked me to put the pot into the electric rice cooker and switch it on. I checked to see that the small red light of the electric cooker was on. My heart was lightened. Few minutes later, my mother got up and went into the kitchen. When she saw the steam coming out from the rice cooker, she was satisfied. She called me and thanked me. We know from the text that the writer should do her mother's command because.. a. Her mother was sick b. She had two younger brothers c. Her mother was busy with her younger brothers d. It was too dark e. Her mother would be angry at her

Jawabannya adalah a. Her mother was sick. Pertanyaan soal yaitu 'Kita tahu dari teks bahwa penulis harus melakukan perintah ibunya karena..' Pada teks di atas dituliskan bahwa 'I leaned onto the bed and talked to my mother, "Mom, did you hear me?" My mother moved her eyes and said, "I get cold. It's time to cook, but switch the light on first."(Saya bersandar ke tempat tidur dan berbicara dengan ibu saya, "Bu, apakah Anda mendengar saya?" Ibuku menggerakkan matanya dan berkata, "Aku kedinginan. Saatnya memasak, tapi nyalakan lampunya dulu.") 'Get cold' juga dapat diartikan bahwa sang Ibu sedang sakit. Dengan demikian, penulis harus melakukan perintah Ibunya karena sang Ibu tengah sakit. Jadi, jawabannya a. Her mother was sick.
