Mountain Mountains are natural elevation of the earth's surface having considerable mass, generally steep sides, and a height greater than that of a hill. Every continent has mountain chains, long or short ones, new or old ones. Almost all mountains are formed in chains or ranged. It indicates that the forming of mountains occurs in vast areas. The power of forming cones from the depth in the earth. The process of forming the mountains takes hundreds of years. 2. Sun The Sun is a star found at the center of the Solar System. At around 1,392,000 kilometres (865,000miles) wide, the Sun’s diameter is about 110 times wider than Earth’s. Around 74% of the Sun’s mass is made up ofhydrogen. Helium makes up around 24% while heavierelements such as oxygen, carbon, iron and neon make up the remaining percentage. The Sungenerates huge amounts of energy by combining hydrogen nuclei into helium. This process is called nuclear fusion. The Sun’s surface temperature is around 5500 degrees Celsius (9941 degrees Fahrenheit). The Sun’score is around 13600000 degrees Celsius. The average distance from the Sun to the Earth is around150 million kilometers. Light from the Sun reaches Earth in around 8 minutes. 3. Clouds Acloudiswater vapourin theatmosphere(sky) that has condensed into very small water droplets or ice crystals that appear in visible shapes or formations above the ground. Water on theEarthevaporates(turns into an invisible gas) and rises up into the sky. Higher up where the air is colder, the watercondenses: it changes from a gas to drops of water or crystals ofice. We see these drops of water as clouds. The drops fall back down to earth asrain, and then the water evaporates again. This is called the "water cycle".

A cloud is water vapour in the atmosphere (sky) that has condensed into very small water droplets or ice crystals that appear in visible shapes or formations above the ground.

Water on the Earth evaporates (turns into an invisible gas) and rises up into the sky. Higher up where the air is colder, the water condenses: it changes from a gas to drops of water or crystals of ice. We see these drops of water as clouds.
