In pairs, practice the following dialog.
Answer the questions that follow.
Bagus: What are you reading, Mawar?
Mawar: I am reading news about protest against global warming.
Bagus: Interesting. But, who are the protest addressed to? Global warming is a worldwide issue.
Mawar: It's not really addressed to a person or institution. It is more to raise awareness to put effort to fight against global warming.
Bagus: O.K. What do the protesters ask, then?
Mawar: Plenty. They want people to start using green products, use less fossil fuels, and many more.
Bagus: Who are these protesters? Are they from an environmentalist community?
Mawar: Several of them. But, you know what is interesting? Most of the protesters are teenagers like us.
Bagus: Why are so many teenagers joining the protest?
Mawar: Because we will be the ones who will feel the damage of the worsening global warming. Think about it.
Bagus: That's true. Our parents might no longer live by the time the effect is worsening.
Mawar: We should also try our best to stop the worsening effect of global warming.

Indonesia Floods: Dozens Dead in Papua Province
At least 73 people have been dead and more than 60 are missing in flash floods in Indonesia's eastern province of Papua.
Rescue workers are struggling to reach remote parts of the province, and there are fears the number of dead may rise. Roads have been blocked by landslides and fallen trees, and floodwaters have damaged two bridges and more than 100 houses.
More than 4,000 people have been forced from their homes, and some are sheltering in government offices.
Local residents said torrential rain began on Saturday evening and continued into the night, triggering mudslides and flash floods.
"Our house was flooded with thick mud. We immediately grabbed our valuables and ran to a neighbor's [two-storey] house to seek refuge," mother-of-two Lili Puji Hastuti told AFP news agency. "It's hard to get out of the area because many roads are blocked. I'm worried, sad, and scared all at once.
The search for victims continues in the town of Sentani, one of the worst affected areas. At least 51 people were killed in the town, national disaster agency spokesman Sutopo Purwo Nugroho told Reuters news agency.
Another seven confirmed deaths were in the nearby provincial capital Jayapura, Mr Nugroho added.
However, a five-month-old baby was rescued in the city after being trapped under the rubble for hours, according to the military. The baby was later reunited with his family. His father survived but his mother's whereabouts is unknown.

A Canadian Tourist Has Died After Falling from a Popular Zipline Attraction in Northern Thailand
Local media reports say a Canadian man has died after the cable of a zip line he was traveling on snapped in Chiang Mai, northern Thailand-the latest accident to befall the popular Flight of the Gibbon tourist attraction.
According to the Bangkok Post, the man was identified as 25-year-old Spencer Charles, who was vacationing in Thailand.
Local officials in Mae-on district told the Post that the accident happened late on Saturday morning when a cable was reportedly disconnected shortly after Charles was released from the start of the zip line, causing him to fall more than 300 feet to the creek below.
The year before, an American woman and a Chinese woman, crashed into each other while riding the zip line and were hospitalized.
According to a Post report of 2017, the husband of the Chinese woman claimed in a statement to a Thai court that there was no first aid kit available on the site at the time of the accident, while the American woman suffered from brain trauma and lost vision in one eye as a result.
The Flight of the Gibbon bills itself as "a chance to encounter wild gibbons in their natural habitat" by zip lining through "the ancient Thai rainforest." It says it has "the highest international safety standards"; land "fully trained staff" it calls "Sky Rangers."
It was founded in 2007 by New Zealander David Allardice, according to its website, and operates zip line attractions in Chiang Mai and in the Thai capital Bangkok.
The company has accepted full responsibility for the accident, said an official cited by the Post, and an investigation is underway.

(CNN) Stephen Hawking, the brilliant British theoretical physicist who overcame a debilitating disease to publish wildly popular books probing the mysteries of the universe, has died, according to a family spokesman. He was 76. Considered by many to be the world's greatest living scientist, Hawking was also a cosmologist, astronomer, mathematician; and author of numerous books including the landmark "A Brief History of Time," which has sold more than 10 million copies.
With fellow physicist Roger Penrose, Hawking merged Einstein's theory of relativity with quantum theory to suggest that space and time would begin with the Big Bang and end in black holes. Hawking also discovered that black holes were not completely black but emit radiation and would likely eventually evaporate and disappear.
"A star just went out in the cosmos," Lawrence Krauss, a theoretical physicist and cosmologist, wrote on Twitter." We have lost an amazing human being."
Hawking suffered from ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis), a neurodegenerative disease also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease, which is usually fatal within a few years. He was diagnosed in 1963, when he was 21, and doctors initially gave him only a few years to live.
The disease left Hawking wheelchair-bound and paralyzed. He was able to move only a few fingers on one hand and was completely dependent on others or on technology for virtually everything- bathing, dressing, eating, even speech.
Hawking used a speech synthesizer that allowed him to speak in a computerized voice with an American accent.
"I try to lead as normal a life as possible, and not think about my condition, or regret the things it prevents me from doing, which are not that many," he wrote on his website.
"I have been lucky that my condition has progressed more slowly than is often the case, but it shows that one need not lose hope."
