Once upon a time there was a water-bearer who had two large post, each hong on each end of a pole which he carried across his beck. One of the post had a crack in it, and while the other not was perfect and always delivered a full portions of water at the end of the long walk from the steam to the masters house, the cracked not arrived only half full

For a full two years this went on daily, with the bearer delivering only one and a half not full of water in his masters house. Of course, the perfect not was proud of it accomplishments, perfect to the end for which it was made. The poor cracked not was ashamed of its o imperfection, and miserable that it was able to accomplish only half of what it had been made to do. After two years of what it perceived to be a bitter failure, it spoke to the water-bearer one day by the steam, "I am ashamed of myself, and I want to apologise to you"

"Why? asked the bearer. What are you ashamed of?"

"I have been able, for these last two years, to deliver only half my load because this crack in my side caused water to leaf out all the way back to your masters house.

Because of my claws, you have to do all of this work and you don get full value from your efforts", the not said.

The water-bearer felt sorry for the old cracked not, and in his compassion he said, "As we return to e masters house, I want you to notice the beautiful flowers along the path".

Indeed, as they went up the hill, the old cracked not took notice of the sun warning the beautiful wild flowers on the side of the bath, and this cheered it some. However, at the end of the train, it still felt bad because it had leaked out half its load, and so again apologised to the bearer for its failure.

The bearer said to the not, "Did you notice that there were flowers only on your side of your bath, but not on the other post side? Thats because have always known about your flaw, and took advantage of it. I planted flower seeds on your side of the bath, and every day while we walk back from the steam, youre watered them. For two years I have been able to pick these beautiful flowers to decorate my masters table. Without you being just the way you are, he would not have this beauty to grade his house".

Why did the cracked not apologise to the water-bearer

A few years ago, a young school boy was caught in a fire accident in his school and was assumed that he would not live. His mother was told that he was sure to die, for the terrible fire had devastated the lower half of his body. Even if he were to survived, he would be a cripple throughout his life.

However, the brave boy did not want to die for did he want to be a cripple. Much to be the amazement of the doctor, he did survived. Unfortunate from his waist down he had no motor ability. His thin legs just tangled there, lifeless. Ultimately he was discharged from the hospital

His determination to walk was indomitable. At home, when he was not in bed, he was confined to a wheelchair. One day, he threw himself from the hair and pulled himself across the grass, dragging his legs behind him. He reached the picked fence, raised himself up and then stake by stake, he began dragging himself along the fence, his resolve to walk undeterred. He did this every day, with faith in himself that he would be able to walk unaided. With his iron persistence and his resolute determination, he did developed the ability to sand up, then to walk haltingly, then to walk by himself and then to run.

He began to walk to school, then run to school to run for the sheer joy of cunning. Later in collage he made the track team.

In February 1934, in New York City famed Madison Square Garden, this young man who was not expected to survived, who would surely never walk, who could never hope to run-this determined young man, Dr. Glenn Cunningham, ran the world fastest mile. An epitome of the lower of positive thinking and faith in ones self, Glenn Cunningham continues to be an inspiration for many. His story, a brilliant testimony to how one can bounce back even when all odd are stacked against one, to the extend that death seemed the preferably option.

Ryan had a memorable experience when he was at a primary school.

One day Ryan and his schoolmates returned home earlier. Ryan teacher gave the students homework and it should be submitted the next day. Arriving at home, Ryan asked his mothers permission to go to his friends house. His mother reminded him to do his homework first, but he refused He told her that he would do it in the evening, after having dinner

Ryan spent his day in his friends house. He didn have a course, so he arrived home at about 5 p.m. He even didn do his house chores. After having dinner, Ryan mother reminded him of his homework Hesitantly, Ryan went to his room and prepared his book. Suddenly, a blackout occurred. It was very dark and Ryan couldn see anything. For matters worse, he could not use his emergency lamp. It was out of the battery. The blackout lasted for hours. Ryan panicked when the time showed 9:30 p.m. and the blackout still occurred. He had not done his homework. Being tired, he fell asleep.

The next morning, Ryan was afraid of going to school. However, his mother encourage him. She asked Ryan to apologise to his teacher and tell him the truth
