THE FLY AND THE BULL
There was once a little fly who thought he was very important. He felt proud of himself. One sunny morning, he flew around looking for someone to talk to. He saw a bull grazing in a field. He decided to fly down to talk to him.
The little fly flew down and buzzed around the bull's ear. The bull did not bother him. He went on chewing grass.
The fly then (48)... right inside the bull's ear. The bull continued chewing grass. The fly thought, "What a stupid animal"
Now the fly decided to land on the bull's (49).... to make the bull notice him. He waited for the bull to say something, but the bull kept quiet.
The bull laughed and said, "Little fly, I dont care if you stay or leave. You are so (50) ..... that your weight does not make any difference to me, so please be quiet and leave me alone."

Tornados occur when the conditions that cause thunderstorms are unusually violent. Winds blow in opposite directions around a strong updraft start a narrow, violent whirl. Centrifugal force effectively throws the hair away from the center, leaving a core of very low pressure. This is much like stirring water in a cup, thus forming a vortex- like dip in the surface.
This low-pressure core acts as a partial vacuum, sometimes helping to life the roofs off houses. Most of the damage, though, results from the force of the wind itself. Around the edges of the whirl, wind speeds may reach 300 miles (480 kilometers) per hour. At first, the tornados funnel is whitish-gray because it is composed of minute water droplets formed as the hair in the funnel expands and cools. After touching down, the funnel becomes dark because of all of the debris it has picked up. This debris can included soil, tree limbs, and parts of buildings; tornados have been known to pick up automobiles, horses, and whole trees.
A tornado usually moves toward the east (or often northeast in the Northern Hemisphere and southeast Hemisphere) at 25 to 40 miles (40 to 65 kilometers) per hour. Fortunately, most tornados are less than half a mile (800 meters) wide; the edge of one may destroy all of the houses on one side of a street while leaving those on the other side completely undamaged.
Deaths from tornados in the United States averaged roughly 100 per year over the last century. However, they have dropped somewhat in recent decades as better forecasting and warning systems have been implemented.
Why have deaths from Tornado in the United States decreased in the recent decades?

Supply & Demand: How Markets Work
The two basic terms used most often by economists are supply and demand. The amount of something that is available - the supply - and the amount of something that people want - the demand - make up a working market. The market is the way in which an economic activity is organized between buyers and sellers through their behavior and interaction with one another.
Buyers as a group, determine the overall demand for a particular product at various prices. The interaction of buyers and sellers in the market helps to determine the market price, thereby allocating scarce goods and services efficiently. The price is taken into account when deciding how much of something to consume, and also how much to produce.
The relationship between price and quantity demanded is so universal that it is called the law of demand. This law states that with all else equal, when the price of goods rises, the quantity demanded falls - and when the price falls, the quantity demanded rises. The supply curve provides the opposite information: the higher the price, the higher the quantity supplied - and the lower the price, the lower the quantity supplied.
A key function of the market is to find the equilibrium price when supply and demand are in balance. At this price, the goods supplied are equal to what is being demanded thereby bringing about the most efficient allocation of the goods. An efficient allocation of goods in a market is one in which no one can be made better off unless someone else is made worse off.
The “law of demand” works if ...

Brain cancer might be categorized as the worst and the deadliest disease. Approximately 17.000 people in the United States are diagnozed with primary cancer each year and nearly 13.000 die of the disease.
The brain is made up of individual cells. These cells are the smallest units which compose the brain. A brain cancer can arise from any of the cells, which make up the brain. Brain cancer starts in just one cell. As the cell makes more and more copies of itself, it grows to form a tumor. A malignant tumor has a capacity to spread, and is then called "brain cancer"
"Primary brain cancer" starts within the bruin, and is the main subject of the transcript. In contrast, "secondary brain cancer " starts in some other organs (like lung or breast) and then spread to the brain. This is called "brain metafisis"
There are several things that have been found to increase the risk of developing brain cancer. Having rare family disease (such as neurofibromatosis, Von Hippel Lindau), exposure to radiation, and exposure to certain chemicals (like pvc) have been connected to developing brain cancer. The risk is greater if the person is exposed to at a young age to a higher dose.

Hacking: Pro and Contra?
Do you know what a hacker is? A hacker is a person who enjoys exploring the details of a programmable system on computers and he or she likes to stretch the capability of the system. The activities they do in the computers are called ‘hacking’.
So, what’s the problem with ‘hacking and its hackers’? The problem is whether ‘hacking and its hackers’ is legal or illegal. What I mean is that people in the world have many different views about hacking and the hackers. Some of them take sides, but many object.
To get back to what I was saying previously, let us see the positive points of a hacker, shall we? Although in most places breaking into computer systems is considered illegal, I believe that hackers don’t do anything illegal because they only want to know and try the system. I dare to say that a hacker likes finding the strengths and the weaknesses of a computer system. They feel proud if the can find the weaknesses. So I don’t really see the crimes in this case. In addition, these hackers sometimes help the police catch the ‘white collar criminals’, such as bank robbers, many launderers, credit card forgers. For example, in 2000, the U.S. hackers caught some Singaporean hackers who made ‘Virus Love’ to break up the programs of the U.S National Security system.
Nevertheless, those who object to the good points of a hacker say that hacking is a crime. The reason is that some hackers use their brilliant skills to break into banks and other vital institutions where they can get money and destroy information, and the worst thing is they can get secret information and sell it to another country. This is a treachery.

2012 film
2012 is Roland Emmerich's film which uses the Mayan calendar and other end-of-days prophecies for their doomsday scenario. It images the world coming to an end in 2012.
2012 film brings off a series of wonders. The movie hits its peak early on. It starts when Cussack drives a limo through the streets of Los Angeles as freeways and skyscrapers crumble all round him from the shock of a 103 R.S. earthquake. The preposterous flying sequence is equally thrilling. The climax occurs aboard the giant ark, when an equipment malfunction threatens almost the entire mission.
Unfortunately, the crucial sequence is not filmed or edited with the necessary clarity. In 2012 film. Emmerich leaves us confused as to exactly what is happening to whom. However, Emmerich' 2012 deserves credit for casting Cussack.
McCarthy has perhaps his best role ever as Peat's cocky. Danny Glover lends dignity to the role of the president. Chiwetel Ejiofor, as the chief scientist, brings a moving sense of anguish to a stock role. Platt has fun playing the villain of the piece, and Woody Harrelson also chews the scenery as a bugeyed radio prophet trying to warm his listeners about Armagedon.
All in one, 2012's cinematography, production design and visual effects are awards-worthy. Music also propels the movie. It presents American Idol manner-up. Adam Lambert, who provides a rousing anthem over the end credits.

Tim Burton’s “Alice in Wonderland” was probably the most anticipated movie of the year 2010. But is it any good? First of all, I should probably mention that hardcore Lewis Carroll fans may find it very disappointing. The movie is merely based on the book. It features most of the same characters and a couple at the same locations, but the story is completely different.
Alice is no longer a little girl, but an unconventional young woman who has the same dream of finding herself in Wonderland every night, until one day it happens in real life. Her arrival was expected. Alice is supposed to save the inhabitants from the evil Red Queen and get the reign back to her kind sister, the White Queen. She knows nothing about it, but she is meant to be the knight in shining armor, both figuratively and literally speaking.
From the text above we can conclude that....
