The Komodo dragon truly lives up to its name, being the largest species of lizard  ever known and capable of growing up to 3m in length and weighing up to 70 kg. This sheer size, when combined with the dragon's predatory nature, demands that caution be exercised when in its immediate vicinity.

Morover, the dragon is also famous for its ferocious bite, which combines serrated teeth with mysteriously toxic saliva. Scientists still debate whether this saliva contains venom or bacteria but either way, the dragon's fearsome reputation is well known.

This killing machine is only found in few islands in the Komodo National Park, a conservation area listed in two international groups: UNESCO World Heritage and the New 7 Wonders of Nature.

STRONG WIND

    Once there was a great warrior named Strong Wind. He lived with his sister in a tent by the sea. Strong Wind was able to make himself (1)____. His sister could see him, but no one else could. He had said he would marry the first woman who could see him as he came at the end of the day.
    Many women came up to his tent to watch for him. When his sister saw him coming, she would ask, “Do you see him?”z
